If you read this blog on a regular basis you know I am a big fan of the power of questions. So, here are some questions to ponder this week:
- Are you training your officers to win or to survive?
- Are you training your officers to win gunfights or to qualify?
- Are you training your officers what the law allows them to do?
- Are you training your officers to prepare their mind for where their body may have to go?
- Are you training your officers to win the fight at all levels by teaching them the art of articulation and helping them understand (not memorize but understand) the law?
- Are you training your officers to win fights at all ranges of combat?
- Are you training to win gunfights at contact range?
- Are you training your officers to win gunfights, fist fights and knife fights inside a vehicle?
- Are you training your officers to win fights in confined spaces like a bathroom, the aisle of a bus or a subway car, or between parked cars on a parking lot?
- Are you training your officers to win fights in the rain, ice and snow?
- Are you training your officers to win fights in wooded areas?
- Are you training your officers to win fights in the dark?
- Are you training your officers to shoot a subject from 2 inches away while they are in a fight with your partner?
- Are you training your officers to win gunfights one handed?
- Are you training your officers to win gunfights one handed with their non-dominant hand?
- Are you training your officers to win gunfights with people of all ages, races, genders, sizes, and appearances?
Are you?
Take care.
