Beginners Mind

This week’s blog is short in length but requires some reading and some thought on your part.

First click on the link below and take a few minutes to read the article then come back to the blog:

http://www.azstarnet.com/business/local/article_5b6390fb-f1f4-522a-a7b1-df96c2ac4fc1.html

Next, read the following quote:

“In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities. In the expert’s mind there are few.”

Shunry Suzuki

Now, take time to reflect on your life, your training and your attitudes. Have you fallen (as we all do at times) into the trap of the ‘expert mindset’ and only see one or two possibilities, or do you still have the ability to use your beginner’s mind and see many possibilities?

Take care.

Brian Willis

P.S. Have you obtained your copy of If I Knew Then: Life Lessons From Cops on the Street from www.warriorspiritbooks.com yet?
