Course Description: What is excellence? What does excellence look like and feel like in training? What does excellent performance in the field look like? How can excellence in training contribute to excellent performance in the field? This interactive session will explore these questions and seek to uncover practical, research informed strategies, which can be applied by every trainer regardless of the subject they teach. This session will go beyond the ‘What?’ and explore the ‘So what?’, and ‘Now what?’ so you walk away with actionable strategies to apply in the pursuit of excellence in and through training.
Instructor Bio: Brian Willis served as a full time police officer for 25 years and has over 34 years of law enforcement training experience. In addition to his work with law enforcement professionals Brian also served as a mental preparation coach for athletes from a variety of sports including two Olympic athletes. He currently serves as the Deputy Executive Director for ILEETA.
