When you show up to teach a class that you have taught 50, 100, 500 or 1000 times before, how do you show up? What type of attitude do you bring? What kind of energy and enthusiasm do you bring?
While it may be the 100th time you have taught that class, for someone in the room it may be the first time they have heard the message, or the first time it connected with them.
What you do is too important to show up and go through the motions because you are bored with the material.
You need to show up with the passion, energy and enthusiasm you brought the first times you taught the class combined with the knowledge, wisdom and experience from all the years and all the classes you have taught.
You need to show up with the mindset that you will learn something new from that class and from the learners who showed up that day.
If you cannot do that then you know it is time to move on and stop teaching, or find a topic you can teach where you bring the passion, energy, mindset and wisdom to the program.
What you do is too important. The lives and the careers of the people in that room may depend on what you are teaching. You owe it to them to Dare to Be Great every time you show up.
Take care.
