How Hard Are You Working?

“What success I achieved in the theater is due to the fact that I have always worked just as hard when there were ten people in the house as when there were thousands. Just as hard in Springfield, Illinois as on Broadway.” Bill Robinson

Are you working just as hard with in-service officers as you are with recruits?

Are you working just as hard with 2 officers in a training session as you are with 24?

Are you working just as hard to be your best with your own officers as you are when presenting at a conference of your peers?

Are you working just as hard to teach a topic you are not crazy about as you are when you teach your favorite class?

Regardless of the topic or the audience you need to work just as hard to provide the best training experience possible. The officers you have the honor and the privilege to train cannot afford for you to take a day off, for you to switch off, or for you to go through the motions because it may cost them their life.

Take care.

Brian Willis
