Be generous with your time and help those who are struggling to grasp the material you are teaching. Be generous with your knowledge, wisdom and experience by mentoring the next generation of trainers.
Seek opportunities to break down silos and cooperate with other trainers, and other agencies. Cooperate with the leadership of your organization so you are living, preaching, practicing and supporting the values, mission and vision of the organization.
Be enthusiastic in your teaching regardless of how many times you have taught that subject or that class. Bring passion and energy to every class you teach and every presentation you deliver regardless of the topic. If you can no longer be enthusiastic, then it is time to move on.
Training should be about serving. Great trainers embrace the concept of servant leadership. Make your students the heroes and serve as wise and humble mentors to those you have the privilege and honour to teach, coach, mentor and train.
The more you are, the more you become.
