What’s with all the questions?

This week I am at the ILEETA International Conference and Expo in Rosemont, IL. It is a week of great training and amazing learning opportunities. My presentation this year is on the importance of questions and is called “What’s with all the question?” I will do doing one or two webinars on this topic for the Excellence in Training Academy in the coming months. In the meantime I would like to share some questions for you to contemplate.

This week make time to ask yourself the following questions and contemplate the answers:

What is one skill I need to develop to become a better trainer / facilitator / teacher?

Who do I need to thank?

Who do I need to forgive?

Who do I need to apologize to?

In the last 90 days what have I done to make myself a better trainer? What have I read, what have I listened to (podcasts, audio books, interviews), what courses have I taken, what webinars have I participated in?

Who or what am I most grateful for?

Are the footprints I am leaving in the sand worth following?

Who am I mentoring?

Who am I developing to replace me?

Do I understand that as a trainer, I am a leader?

Am I a servant leader or a self-serving leader?

Take care.
